Mimaki UJV300-DTF

The NEW Mimaki UJV300DTF-75 is a UV Direct-to-Film (UV-DTF) roll-to-roll inkjet printer designed to produce durable, high-quality transfer graphics for curved, irregular, or non-flat surfaces.

Unlike traditional Direct-to-Film (DTF) which is used specifically for fabrics, UV-DTF transfers can be applied to a wider variety of materials, including wood, metal, plastic, and glass. 

This process eliminates the need for weeding, cutting, or using a heat press for application. 

UV-DTF workflow: The printer creates transfers on a special two-part film. The design is first printed onto a release film using UV ink, then a laminating unit automatically applies an adhesive to complete the transfer sheet. The final transfer can then be peeled and applied to a wide range of objects using simple pressure.

• • Print vibrant, durable graphics. The UJV300DTF-75 uses CMYK plus White and Clear UV inks to produce vivid colours, fine details, and clear varnish effects. The UV-cured ink provides excellent scratch, water, and weather resistance, resulting in dishwasher-safe applications.
  • Apply to a variety of substrates: Printed transfer is compatible with many materials that are difficult to print on directly, such as metal, acrylic, wood, leather, and brick.
  • Enables custom applications: The ability to apply transfers to complex shapes like tumblers, bottles, and gift packaging expands the possibilities for creating custom, one-off, and short-run items.
  • Mimaki core technologies: Includes proprietary features for stability and minimal user intervention. These include:
    • Mimaki Circulation Technology (MCT): Circulates white ink to prevent settling and clogging.
    • Nozzle Check Unit (NCU) and Nozzle Recovery System (NRS): Automatically detects and recovers from clogged nozzles to ensure uninterrupted production.
    • Anti-Collision Sensor: Prevents the printhead from colliding with the film.
